Welcome to My Personal Fundraising Page
Hello friends and family -
As some of you know, this past August my 4 year old next-door neighbor Maeve died in an unspeakably tragic way after succumbing to a sodium seizure from ingesting too much water at swim class. Words cannot describe what a light she was, always in her driveway calling to me and asking if she could visit my dog or play on my swings. She will be forever missed by me, but especially by her parents Heather and Mark and her sisters Ava and Lucia. The greatest gift her parents gave, in their time of such sorrow, was to donate her organs. This selfless act ultimately saved two one year olds, and two adult men. Now we are raising money for the organ donation cause in Maeve's name. Please consider giving to my team, as we walk or run on May 20. THANK YOU.

WELCOME TO THE TEAM PAGE OF MAEVE THE BRAVE!
Team Maeve The Brave
Thank you for visiting the Maeve The Brave fundraising page. Maeve Annette Behan passed away on August 13, 2017, a week shy of her fourth birthday. She always wanted to be a super hero and now she truly is. Maeve saved four lives by donating her organs through the NJ Sharing Network. Maeve’s heart saved a one year old boy, her liver a one year old girl and her kidneys saved two adult men. We are so proud of her strength.
Losing Maeve has been unbearable but her organ donation has been the rainbow at the end of the storm. Maeve was a beautiful little girl who touched so many lives. She was a firecracker and liked to stomp her foot to get her point across. She was also a very loving child. She loved to cuddle on the couch sucking her thumb and twirling her hair. She is forever in our hearts.
This is our first year participating in the NJ Sharing Network 5K. Please join us in honoring Maeve and keeping her spirit alive within us all. Thank you in advance for your participation and/or donation.
