Welcome to My Personal Fundraising Page for Team Buck!
For the ninth year in a row, Team Buck will participate in the Share NJ 5K Walk/Run to honor those who gave, on behalf of those who received, and pray for those who continue to wait. Each year as a team, we celebrate the life of my older brother, Dan Buckiewicz. Once again, we will honor and celebrate an amazing woman and dear friend of my Mom, Joyce Novotny.
Dan was an incredible son, brother, friend and overall human being. His genuine, compassionate and giving nature was extraordinary and noticed by many. His unique presence was able to light up a room - where his positive energy was both natural and contagious. During his short time here on Earth, he touched the lives of many, and even more at the time of his death, by becoming an organ and tissue donor. With his donation, Dan became a hero by saving and assisting the lives of roughly seventy strangers.
Joyce was my Mom’s colleague and friend, that was known for her profound creativity, adventurous spirit and warm personality. Joyce even knew Dan, where after his passing, she generously supported our family and the NJ Sharing Network each year. Unfortunately, in September of 2017 Joyce was involved in a tragic accident. Similar to Dan, her giving nature and belief in the cause resulted in her becoming an organ donor. As a result, Joyce saved and enhanced the lives of eight individuals through the gift of life.
In memory of both Dan and Joyce, and for the hundreds of thousands of people who are waiting, who have received, and who have given the ultimate gift of life, I ask that you consider joining our team and/or making a contribution in support of NJ Sharing Network Foundation.
Making a donation is easy and safe, simply click the "Contribute" button on the top of the page.

In close, as you know, when someone in your life is no longer with you, the one common thing that we all want is to make sure that your loved one is remembered. We hope to see you at this amazing event to remember and celebrate the lives of Dan and Joyce.
